Biography:

Born in Japan but raised in the US due to parent's work. 

Biological parents (model mom and a designer dad) had a shotgun wedding

• Had images to keep so they acted as if they were happily married

• Behind the scenes, the parents always cheated on eachother

Leads Kaito to be unable to believe in relationships

• Matures early at a rather young age

• Becomes unfeeling of a lot of things

• Really only caring for the modeling work

• And school bc education

Because of his early maturation, lots of people came onto him

• Did not care one bit for these people

• Got experience

He was born pretty much expressionless

• Caused people to pick on him

• Learned self defense to fight back only when necessary and to keep injuries to a minimum

• Some people were scared at him because of his “glare”

However, occasionally there were people who weren’t scared of him (ex: Hatsuma) and approached him quite often

• First real “friend”

 

Several years later

• After middle school graduation

• his biological parents divorce

• Each happily with a new, steady partner

• Biological mom and her lover flew to Japan with Kaito for her job

• Allowed kaito to select a school on his own

• Picks an idol school, MRA because of its idol course and dorms

• He and his parents no longer keep in contact.

• They also moved back to the US shortly after Kaito entered MRA

 

First Year in MRA

• Debuted through an event hosted by the school to form a temporary seasonal unit (Summer unit)

• Got used to work in Japan and started taking jobs of modeling for coords/outfits designed by the students of the academy.

• Got confessed to/hit on by a few people but turned them down because he felt nothing special towards them

• Forms a unit with a second year (Tsubaru Konoha) on manager’s order

• Starts to feel something towards his partner-

• A feeling of wanting to protect him...

• Eventually gets together with him.

• Unit size grows (October 2015)

• Unsure about working with a lot of new idols at once

• Luckily they were easy to work with and had no issues

• Got used to them p quickly

     Rock music
     Modeling - takes pride in his work and his specialty.
     Dogs (or animals in general other than cats-)
     Exercising - has daily routines that he keeps up....unless the unit leader or managers have something planned for him.
     Reading - when he's resting in his room he can be seen reading or reviewing dances/songs for any upcoming events.

Dislikes:
     Cats - has had bad experiences with them in the past, and actually has a bit of an allergy lol. He still can somehow manage having nekomimi (cat ears) put on him or seeing someone with them, but he will leave upon seeing actual cats (bc allergy) or people with cat like personalities (he gets goosebumps lol). 
     Being forced to talk or do something against his will.
     Romantic relationships Stalkers - though he's used to having them and usually just ignored the issue (due to the fact that he has been in this industry since childhood), a few recent events have caused him problems. 
     Group work (unless its for modeling) - in the past (preMRA) his co-stars either fumbled or caused problems leading to overtime and pushing his schedule back so he disliked working with groups. Now being in AK, the feeling of dislike is starting to disappear--- Though he still prefers working alone.
     his parents - the root cause of his (former) dislike of romantic relationships. 

Additional Info:
     He's not that fun to talk to because of his personality OTL
     He knows two languages fluently (incaseyoudidntknow-:"D) and knows a bit of a third language (due to foreign language classes)

     Pretty good at self-defense ((bc he's been in the industry since he was young. so he took precautions))
     He is unable to act as anyone other then himself- due to his personality :') so he can only take on roles of characters who have similar personality as himself.
     No, he's not based off of the vocaloid Kaito orz. Kaito's original design was a nameless merman who had received the name, Kai (meaning ocean), from the mermaid princess he had protected before the setting of the rp group which I applied him to. Unfortunately he didn't get accepted. So after finding MRA I decided to reuse him after redesigning him, and wanting to make the name "Kai" into a stage name- I looked for a name that had Kai in it-- I ended up w Kaito.  -> fav.me/d8jo4vs
